HOUSING Limited student housing is available on a first-come, first- serve basis. Housing is only available for single students. For information on local rental house, please click here. Garst
Hall is a traditional co-educational,
air conditioned residence hall housing 74 undergraduate men and women. Each
room houses two students (single-sex). Community bathrooms with multiple
showers, sinks and toilets (one for men, one for women). A community kitchen
has a stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and sink. A combination
refrigerator/microwave can be rented if staying in housing all year (cost is
approximately $150 US). Bedroom furniture includes a twin bed, dresser, desk,
chair and closet. Community lounge spaces has a pool table, flat panel TV and
comfortable furniture. Building has both wired and wireless internet access.
Community laundry room located in the hall (no cost to use). Cost
is $23.48 per day If
space is available, student may be able to pay $28.03 per day and have a double
room without a roommate.
MEALS
Students
can purchase meals at the door in the Cardinal's Nest or other dining facilities.
Limited restaurants are within a short walk of campus. Many restaurants are within a five- mile
driving distance of campus.

Application Fee Students must pay a nonrefundable $25.00 fee. This can be a US money order or international money order for US dollars from a US bank. Make the check or money order payable to Otterbein University. DO NOT SEND CASH OR COUPONS. If you don’t have a bank account in the US, you can pay it online by credit card.
University Transcripts Send original or certified true copies of the original official transcripts/documents for course work from the university you currently enrolled. An official translation in English must accompany all transcripts. Transcripts are documents that list the courses you took, grading scale, and the marks/grades you obtained after completing these courses. DO NOT SEND PHOTOCOPIES. If you are paying tuition from your own personal funds, only complete the “Source of Support” section on page 2.
Bank Statement Sponsors must ask their bank to certify in a letter or bank statement that sufficient funds for educational expenses are available to meet the expenses for one academic year. Unsponsored students must send a bank statement from their own bank. DO NOT SEND PHOTOCOPIES.
English Testing Results Provide an official report sent from either the Educational Testing Service (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Otterbein’s code is 1597. You may send a copy of your results temporarily, but you must have the official report sent before you will be allowed to register for classes at Otterbein. For matriculation as a degree seeking student, the minimum TOEFL score required for the paper-based test is 550; you need a minimum of 213 for the computer-based test; and a score of at least 79 is needed for the Internet-based test. The minimum IELTS score is 6.5.
GMAT/GRE MBA candidates are required to have a four-year degree from a regionally accredited college or university and have professional experience. Candidates who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale are not required to take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT); all other candidates are required to take the GMAT exam and score a minimum of 500.
