What Happens Next?
Once we receive your application
For English as Second Language
(ESL), exchange, and visiting students:
You will receive an e-mail
acknowledgment that your application was received within 1 to 5 business
days. You can use your Username and ID for monitoring the status of your
application in the CIEGE database. Usually within approximately 2 to 4 weeks
after we have received all of your required documents, you will receive an
email of admission decision.
Your online application status
will reflect one of the following admissions decisions:
1.
Applying —
You have submitted materials. Give us a day or two to review them.
2.
Review — We
are still reviewing your materials. We will send you an email if something is
missing.
3.
Admit —
Congratulations! You have been admitted to your program!
4.
Denial — At
this time, you do not meet our admissions requirements. To be considered for
another semester, you may wish to remain enrolled at your current college or
university and improve your academic record. If you are not currently
enrolled, you may wish to enroll at another college or university and improve
your academic profile. In both cases, you will need to contact us to update
your application for a future semester.
After you have been admitted to

Documents
You will receive your paper
documents (Admission Letter, I-20/DS-2019, Health Form, Residence Form) by
mail. It can be sent to you via overnight courier by activating a eShipGlobal
account. (More information about activating an eShipGlobal account is sent
via e-mail.) Living on campus
All the new international students
are required to live on campus. For more information about campus living,
visit Living on Campus.

Semester (Visiting) student: please send your course list to us.
Preparing to Come Once you get your visa, you are ready to come! You can book flight tickets and plan your trip. Please keep in mind that International Student Orientation will begin on Monday, August 18, 2014. Orientation is mandatory for all new international students. The nearest airport is Port Columbus International Airport. The airport code is CMH. Please enter airport code when you book your flight tickets.
