Cosmopolitan Comrades
Cosmopolitan
Comrades
Do you want to have a cosmopolitan comrade? Our guess is
yes! And since our guess is yes, our guess is that you will also fill out an
exciting entrance form and thus begin your journey into a possibly uncharted
territory of having a cosmopolitan comrade (or simply, friend)!
After being matched with a student from a different cultural
background, you will want to meet with your partner about once a week; both
because we recommend such action, as well as the fact that we intuit that you
will genuinely enjoy spending time with your comrade.
There will be multiple, scheduled excursions and activities throughout
the semester that will not only provide an opportunity for the comrades to
strengthen their own relationship, but also to enjoy time together as a large
comrade conglomeration. This time will
be beneficial for international students to see and experience American culture
while giving American students the opportunity to learn about cultures contrasting
(or sometimes even comparing) from their own.
